This flat is conveniently located within a 30 min walk (10 min drive) to Patch Barracks or a 15 min walk to Schwabengalerie / Vaihingen Marktplatz / Vaihingen Bahnhof. I have traveled quite a bit and found it very convenient when I have heavy bags to take the 82 bus (the stop is a three minute walk away) to Vaihingen Bahnhof and from there catch an S-Bahn directly to either the Stuttgart Airport or Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof! There are also very German experiences to enjoy about a 5-10 minute walk away, such as "spazierengehen" in the wooded walking paths and swimming at the local Freibad during the hot summers.

The flat itself is full of light and the communal areas are very open. I was one person living in this three bedroom apartment, which gave me options to use one as my bedroom, the other as a large walk-in closet, and the third as a combination guest bedroom / home office. The built-in kitchen with cabinets, enclosed parking garage, and storage unit in the basement are great features! One of my favorite parts of living here has been the balcony, which is great for dining or enjoying a cold drink in the summer and has the loveliest view of beautiful sunrises during winter and fireworks on New Year's Eve.

Our family has enjoyed living at the apartment. The apartment is bright and open. The location has been great as well. It is just minutes walk from great walking/hiking/biking trails and parks. Just 10 minutes walk to the Vaihingen town center and shops. It is a truly beautiful apartment and has been a wonderful home for us.
